The 14-time Grammy winner gravitated toward “13” as a lucky number early in life as she was born on Dec. 13, she turned 13 on a Friday the 13th and her first No. 1 country hit had a 13-second intro.

On Saturday, Swift, 34, reminded fans of her proclivity for the number on her Instagram Stories, posting a video of a typewriter typing, “13 days until THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT,” alongside an album preorder link.

The Instagram Stories post comes during the same week SiriusXM revealed it is launching a channel dedicated to Swift, fittingly namedChannel 13 (Taylor’s Version), a nod to her favorite number andher rereleases.

“The 13th day of the channel, Friday, April 19, coincides with the release of Taylor Swift’s new albumThe Tortured Poets Department,” SiriusXM said in a press release. “Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version) will be playing the full album beginning to end continuously throughout the weekend.”

The“Is It Over Now?”singer has been promotingThe Tortured Poets Departmentregularly ever sinceannouncing her eleventh studio albumduring an acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Feb. 4.

“I want to say thank you to the members of the Recording Academy for voting this way. But I know that the way that the Recording Academy voted is a direct reflection of the passion of the fans,” Swift said at the Grammys.

The lyrics onThe Tortured Poets Departmentwill explore five stages of heartbreak: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

On Friday,Swift shared five exclusive playlistswith Apple Music — one for each of those stages. Each playlist contains songs from her past albums.
