Afterwinning his first-ever seasonas a coach onThe Voice,Niall Horanis determined to keep the streak going.
Speaking to PEOPLE ahead of Monday’s episode of the singing competition series, Horan opened up about his feelings heading into next week’s finale.
“I’m lucky. America haven’t let me down yet, so all night tonight I’m just going to be like, ‘Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote,'” Horan, 30, says.
He adds, “Jokes aside, competition aside, whatever, I think my three are the best in it and without even trying to be biased or anything… [they’re] technically gifted, diverse, eclectic. I really don’t think they deserve to go home. So I’ll be fighting. I’ll be fighting tonight. And if anyone wants to take me on, try it.”
Horan’s remaining contestants as of Monday include Mara Justine, who performedChris Stapleton’s “Parachute,” Huntley, who performed Kaleo’s “Way Down We Go,” and Nini Iris, who performedBillie Eilish’s “No Time to Die.”

After the show, Team Niall caught up with PEOPLE about the whirlwind season as the finale approaches.
“I’m so happy with all the performances that I’ve done on the show,” Iris, 27, says. “And obviously I want to be in the finale so badly, I hope America votes for me and everything. But just to be here in the semifinals with so many talented people — and I love everybody’s artistry so much. Being one of them means so much to me.”
For 21-year-old Justine, making it to the finale would be a “dream.”
“I am just so happy that I gave it my all tonight, and the rest is not in my hands, so I pray that I make it through. I’m feeling good about it,” she says.
Huntley, 33, knows the competition is fierce this season — and he’s just proud to have been a part of it.
“I think that everyone sees that just the season alone is very special. I feel like you can see that not only is Team Niall a powerhouse, but all the other teams have all this artistry that I think America and the world have been looking for a while,” he says.
On Tuesday night, four contestants will be sent home and only the Top 5 will go to the finale. The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
