More than 27 months sinceMichigan woman Danielle Stislickidisappeared, a man previously declared a person of interest has been charged with her presumed murder.

On Monday, a charge of premeditated first-degree murder was filed in Farmington Hills against Floyd Russell Galloway Jr., 32, according to online court records.

Her Jeep was found the morning after she went missing, parked outside her residence in Farmington Hills. Inside the vehicle was her purse with all of her credit cards.

Those who know Stislickipreviously told PEOPLEshe was “friendly” and a “people person” — traits someone may have taken advantage of.

“If she would have gotten out of her car at her apartment building and if someone was there and asked her for help, she would have been that outgoing person who would give someone directions or help someone find a lost pet,” speculated Holly Juip, her cousin. “It’s just heartbreaking to think about … I can’t even imagine the terror her parents must be feeling, not knowing what’s happened to her.”

In July 2017, Galloway was named aperson of interestin the case when police searched for him in an unrelated attack on a female jogger, which occurred two months before Stislicki vanished.

It was not immediately clear if Galloway has entered a plea or retained an attorney who could comment on his behalf for the recent charges.

A spokesperson for the Farmington Hills Police Department did not immediately return PEOPLE’s request for comment.
