Tristan Thompson Shares Sweet Photo with ‘Mini Me’ Daughter True

Khloé Kardashianis worried about how her relationship withTristan Thompsonimpacts her kids.

The Good American co-founder, 39, opened up about some of her concerns on the latest episode ofThe Kardashians, as the NBA star, 32, moves back into his own home after staying at Kardashian’s during a period of construction.

“Tristan is moving out this week and it is bittersweet. My biggest fear initially is about True. Tatum’s too young to know what’s going on, but True, is this gonna f— her up?” she wonders.

“That she’s, basically to her memory, has never remembered her dad living with her. And now, all of a sudden, he’s living with her and puts her to bed every night and she has this great relationship that I don’t want to do anything that’s going to be damaging to her.”

“I guess it’s destined that parents are gonna screw up their kids at some point but I want to try to avoid screwing up my daughter as long as possible,” she concludes.

“There’s just been a lot of sadness with losing Tristan’s mom, Andrea, andtrying to acclimate Amari into a new life, essentially. It’s been a lot. Today, having it be such a joyous day, it’s been magical where you’re just not thinking about anything too heavy because we’re at a 5-year-old’s birthday party.”

Thompson then talks about how it was Kardashian’s idea to have the celebration on his late mother’s birthday, the firstsince her death in January.

“It was Khloé’s idea, she said, ‘Hey you know for your mom’s birthday, instead of it being a heavy day, why don’t we do True’s birthday party?’ Incorporate it in one, it means a lot.” he shares.

“I’ve loved every bit of today. The happiness and the balloons and everything just makes you happy. So I don’t know, maybe I just threw this party for myself, but I needed it. Whatever it was, I needed it.”

In an episode earlier this season, Thompson talks about unlearning some behaviors that have been enforced on him as a professional athlete and citeshis kidsfor wanting to make the change.

“It wasn’t until I really had to look at myself. I never had to hold myself accountable. We’re taught, ‘Be the man, do what you please, bros before hoes …’ " he says. “You gotta just be your own man and don’t care what people think and don’t feel like you have to get validation from others.”

Turning his attention to his older two kids — True andPrince Oliver, 6½, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig — Thompson shares concerns about what they’ll learn about his shortcomings.

“True is understanding stuff and Prince understands things where they go to school and they have classmates. The last thing I ever want them to do is feel embarrassed that I’m their father,” he said.
