Mojo , who does issue work out on bots vs. human show Battlestar Galactica , has just posted a gorgeous band of photographs that designers used to create the look of the all - metal Centurion cylons for the new show . Here you could see a cool “ smackdown ” picture of an former - schooltime cylon ( feature in Razor flashback ) run short head - to - head with a new - school one . What ’s interesting to me , looking at these genuine - life-time framework for creatures who are double-dyed CGI in the show , is how much they ’re intended resemble R.C. soldiers . They even have nates - extend Ernst Boris Chain post !
Designed by Pierre Drolet , this cylon model looks pretty badass . ( Omigod I am so rum with the ass joke . )

From the back , we see that the large power cell / backpack has been faithfully reproduced . Perhaps the biggest surprise was , against all odds ( and the office betting kitty ) , Pierre in reality managed to keep a speck of the original skirt ! Now , rather of it being an actual , textile skirt designed to obscure deficiencies in the costume , we have a musical composition of flexible armour , further protecting the mechanisms within .
OK , I did n’t call back that the original cylons had skirt .
