Here’s the Lowdown on All Four NewGhostbusters

Each of the new Ghostbusters has received their own introductory video , meaning we ’ve received a long ton of new celluloid footage , along with detail about the character and the game .

We cognise that Abby ( Melissa McCarthy ) and Erin ( Kristen Wiig ) used to be partners , with Abby still believe in their piece of work but Erin leave to teach at Columbia . Abby publishes their book without Erin ’s permission , Erin visits Abby , hear a spook with her , and terminate up believing again . And , as in the original Ghostbusters , lose her place at Columbia in the summons .

We also see Patty ( Leslie Jones ) join the team because of a ghost skirmish of her own , and that her cognition of New York and its history is important . The final piece is Holtzmann , who is clearly the engineer / inventor of the group . But other than her being weird , we still have it away nothing about her background or why she ’s on the team .
