Demi Mooreis a hands-on grandma!
On Saturday, Dec. 28, the actress, 62, posted a wintry snapshot and two videos on Instagram featuring herself with granddaughter Louette (“Lou”).The Substancestar can be seen in a long dark gray North Face coat, a winter hat and snow boots, while little Lou, 20 months, sports a camo-print coat and brown mittens.
“Snow days with Lou ❄️☃️,” Moore captioned the sweet post.
Lou is the daughter of Moore’s eldest child,Rumer Willis, 36, and exDerek Richard Thomas.
While appearing on an episode ofTodayback in September, the actress shared that she loves being a grandmother, revealing that Lou — who is currently her only grandchild — calls her Yaya (which is Greek for “grandma”).
Family time is seemingly quite important to Moore these days — especially since her ex-husbandBruce Williswasdiagnosed with aphasiathat progressed tofrontotemporal dementia. Moore shares Rumer, as well as daughtersScout, 33, andTallulah, 30, with theDie Hardactor, 69.

Moore gave an update about Bruce earlier this month, tellingCNN’s Christiane Amanpour, “Given the givens, he’s in a very stable place at the moment. And I’ve shared this before, but I really mean this so sincerely: It’s so important for anybody who’s dealing with this to really meet them where they’re at. And from that place, there is such loving and joy.”

Back in August, Moore shared some family photos on Instagram, writing in the post’s caption that “sweet” family moments help keep everything “in perspective.”
According to Rumer, Moore has always taken a family-first approach to life. While speaking to PEOPLE in 2021, Rumer credited her and her sisters' well-being to Moore and dad Bruce’scohesive “co-parenting.”

“I’m incredibly grateful that both of my parents have made such an effort my entire life that I never felt like I had to choose between them,” she said at the time, adding, “I have a lot of friends who grew up with parents who got divorced at a young age and I watched their parents, like, pit them against each other or have to choose between holidays.”
“And I didn’t have to do that, and I feel so grateful that my parents made it such a priority that we could be a family, even though it looked different,” she added.
