Foxconn has sent us more details aboutthe May 20th explosion at Foxconn ’s Chengdu factory , saying that a third employee had died in the accident . The explosion is still under investigating but they suspect it “ was due to an explosion of combustible detritus in a duct ” .

Foxconn can corroborate that , sadly , a third employee has died from injury from the May 20 explosion at one of the polish workshops at our company ’s Hongfujin Precision Electronics ( Chengdu ) Co. Ltd. facility in Chengdu .
Fifteen other employees were injured in that accident and six of those employee have been treated and released from the infirmary .
