Well , she ’s not leave the princess life behind that much . She still has the Princess Alliance to command , and on the face of it lessons to learn about ruling a realm that postulate her butting brain with Adora . And that ’s before you get to not just Catra and Hordakrunning rampant , but also unsafe rumors of a spy among the princesses ’ social rank , and even ancient illusion Adora and her friends attempt to contend with in their conflict against the Horde .
It ’s all rather serious clobber , but at least we get some utterly hilarious moments with Mermista being surprisingly into the opinion of betrayer among our hero . It ’s a gracious bit of silly balance to the wide plot line She - Ra really began plunge into in the latter parts of season three , and something that was a dearly pretermit comportment during all that juicy lore - dumping .

Thankfully now that the show isback to full seasonsafter experimenting with truncated , quicker political campaign , the tonal remainder between play times with Adora and her friends and that panoptic , darker threat can settle down again .
